Garden Trolleys

Garden trolleys take the strain out of moving heavy or bulky loads across lawns, gravel and campsites. This collection covers foldable festival trolleys with capacities from 81 to 95 litres, built to carry camping gear, shopping, firewood and equipment in one trip.

A collapsible frame lets the trolley fold flat for transport and storage, while chunky wheels roll over uneven ground more easily than smaller castors. Fabric sides contain loose items, and a pull handle makes towing comfortable behind you.

Useful for festivals, allotments, beach days and general garden tasks, a wheeled trolley saves repeated back-and-forth journeys whenever you need to shift more than you can comfortably carry by hand.

Choosing the right garden storage for your space

Garden storage has to do three things at once: keep your kit dry, stand up to British weather year after year, and actually look right next to your planting. Most cheap options get one of those — ours are designed around all three.

Use the filters to narrow by capacity, material, and feature. If you're not sure where to start, our 60-second storage finder will shortlist three options for your garden.

Common questions

Before you buy Garden Trolleys.

How much weight can a folding festival trolley carry?

These foldable trolleys typically handle loads up to around seventy or eighty kilograms, comfortably taking camping gear, shopping, firewood or festival kit in one trip. The 81-95L fabric tub holds bulky items securely. Distribute heavy weight evenly across the base for stability, and avoid overloading beyond the stated limit, which protects the frame, wheels and folding mechanism from strain.

How compact does the trolley fold down for storage?

The collapsible frame folds flat in seconds, and the fabric tub packs down with it into a slim shape that slips into a car boot, cupboard or under a bed. Most include a carry bag. This makes them easy to transport between home, campsite and events without taking up permanent space, unlike rigid garden carts that cannot be reduced.

Can these trolleys handle grass and rough terrain?

The all-terrain wheels roll over grass, gravel paths, sand and uneven festival fields far better than small hard castors. Larger wheels with deeper treads cope best with soft or bumpy ground. For very muddy conditions, pulling rather than pushing helps, and keeping the load balanced prevents tipping. On smooth pavements and driveways they move with very little effort.

Are the wheels suitable for the beach?

The wide, treaded wheels manage firm and damp sand reasonably well, making these trolleys handy for carrying beach gear from the car park. Very soft, dry sand is harder work for any wheeled trolley, so pulling slowly and keeping the load moderate helps. Rinsing the wheels and frame with fresh water afterwards prevents salt and grit build-up.

Is the trolley fabric easy to clean?

The removable or wipe-clean polyester tub can be brushed off or sponged with warm soapy water after muddy or sandy use, then left to air dry before folding away. Avoid packing it away damp, as this encourages mildew. The frame simply needs an occasional wipe. Keeping the wheels free of grit and hair helps them roll smoothly for longer.
