Yes. Our sets use synthetic polyrattan (PE) weave, which is UV-stable and fully weatherproof, unlike natural rattan, which is an indoor cane. It resists rain, fading and cracking through British summers and won't rot when it gets wet. The powder-coated aluminium or steel frame underneath adds structural weather resistance, so the furniture copes well with year-round outdoor use.
The polyrattan weave and frame can stay outdoors all year, but cushions should not. We recommend covering the set through autumn and winter with a breathable waterproof cover and storing the cushions indoors or in a dry box. This protects the fabric from prolonged damp, keeps colours fresh and extends the overall lifespan of the furniture considerably.
Wipe the weave with warm soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge, then rinse with clean water and allow to air dry. For stubborn dirt trapped in the weave, use a soft brush. Avoid harsh solvents, bleach or pressure washers, as these can damage the finish. A quick clean two or three times a season keeps grey rattan looking its best.
Quality polyrattan is manufactured with UV stabilisers, so the grey colour resists fading far better than cheaper alternatives or natural fibres. Over many seasons of strong sun some very gradual softening of tone is normal for any outdoor material, but covering the set when not in use for long periods helps preserve the original colour and finish.
