Most of our products are flat-pack and assemble in 30 minutes to a few hours. Here's what to expect — and what to do if you'd rather pay someone.

The product page for each item shows the manufacturer-quoted assembly time. We've found those to be roughly accurate — give yourself an hour of buffer for the first time.
What you'll need
- Phillips and flat-head screwdrivers
- Adjustable spanner / 10mm + 13mm sockets
- Spirit level
- For sheds: a flat, level base (concrete slab, paving, or pressure-treated timber frame)
- For sheds: 2nd person — fitting roof panels solo is no fun
