The bench is made from construction-grade CLS C16 kiln-dried timber with a sturdy 38mm x 89mm (2x4) frame for lasting strength. Adding wheels changes the load rating, as reflected below.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
