The Animal Field Shelter V.6 with Open Front, Apex Roof and Guttering adds a fitted guttering system to the pitched apex design, carrying rainwater off the roof and away from the open front so animals stand on drier, firmer ground. The open elevation keeps access easy while the apex ridge lifts headroom and aids runoff.
Like every shelter in the range it is designed for easy self-assembly, arriving complete with instructions and fixings, or ready to be installed by the Arbor Garden Solutions team. It is clad in sawn featheredge boards as standard over a 2x4 (38mm x 89mm) pressure-treated frame, and sits on galvanised steel skids so it can be towed between paddocks with no concrete base and, usually, no planning permission.

Looking after it

Assembly time depends on the size — storage boxes take 15–45 minutes, benches around 30–60 minutes, sheds and bin stores 2–3 hours with two people. A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
