Light Brown offers a softer, mellow tone for sheds, fences and joinery, and Bird Brand Complete+ Superior Wood Preserver backs that colour with strong protection against rot, fungi and wood-boring insects. The finish reads especially cleanly on smooth timbers.
Its triple-action, solvent-based formula brings together water-repellent agents that guard against moisture damage, swelling and warping and three HSE-approved actives: Permethrin, Tebuconazole and IPBC, which tackle insects, wet and dry rot, and blue-stain fungi.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
