The Field Storage Shelter V.5 is a high-quality field storage shed designed to keep tools, feed and equipment safely and comfortably housed out in the field. Built with the same care as our animal shelters, it offers a secure, dependable home for your belongings wherever you need storage away from the yard.
The shelter is made for easy self-assembly, arriving complete with instructions and fixings, or the Arbor Garden Solutions team can install it for you. Cladding is sawn featheredge board as standard, with the whole frame constructed from 2x4 (38mm x 89mm) pressure-treated timber for maximum durability and longevity. It can be supplied on wooden skids so it can be towed around your field or paddock, though this option is not included as standard, and in most cases no planning permission or concrete base is required.

Field Shelter - what actually matters

Looking after it
- Re-coat with a clear or tinted exterior wood treatment every two to three years.
- Keep the base clear of piled soil and leaf litter so the timber can dry out.
- Check fixings once a year and nip up anything that has worked loose.
Delivery and returns
Free delivery to UK mainland on orders over £100, typically 5-7 working days. Larger items travel by pallet to kerbside, so arrange help to move them. You have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 - see returns and delivery.

Assembly time depends on the size — storage boxes take 15–45 minutes, benches around 30–60 minutes, sheds and bin stores 2–3 hours with two people. A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.

Email hello@garden-storage.com within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund — including return postage. Damage is rare on pallet-shipped items, but it's fully covered under our returns policy.
