The RusticRidge Wooden Planter is our most heavily specified planter, built from construction-grade CLS C16 timber (19mm x 89mm) and finished for serious outdoor longevity. Every detail is geared towards protecting your plants and the timber alike.
Inside, a 300-micron Eco DPM liner made from 100% recycled polythene keeps the planter waterproof and rot-proof, while a porous base liner drains excess water and holds soil in place to prevent root rot. Heavy-duty 95mm x 95mm corner posts add stability, and a weed-control membrane lines the sides for a healthier growing environment.
Hand-painted and coated with a high-performance waterborne lacquer, the timber has been tested to BS 927-3 and BS EN 927-6 for extended outdoor life.

Assembly time depends on the size — storage boxes take 15–45 minutes, benches around 30–60 minutes, sheds and bin stores 2–3 hours with two people. A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.

Email hello@garden-storage.com within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund — including return postage. Damage is rare on pallet-shipped items, but it's fully covered under our returns policy.
