This Wooden Eucalyptus Hardwood Top Workbench (V.6) with back combines the V.6 drawer-and-cupboard storage with an added rear panel, closing off the back of the bench for a cleaner, more contained work area. The surface is solid 18mm Premium Red Faced Eucalyptus Core Hardwood Plywood, smooth enough for detailed work yet tough enough for heavy tasks.
Its frame of construction-grade CLS C16 kiln-dried timber provides exceptional durability and stability, while the integrated drawers and functional lockable cupboard keep tools secure and organised. The back panel stops items disappearing behind the unit.
Handmade in the UK, this backed V.6 build comes in lengths from 5ft to 8ft. Each bench ships in knockdown form for easy on-site assembly, requiring nothing more than a screwdriver to complete.

Looking after it
- Re-coat with a clear or tinted exterior wood treatment every two to three years.
- Keep the base clear of piled soil and leaf litter so the timber can dry out.
- Check fixings once a year and nip up anything that has worked loose.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
