At W-227cm with a built-in shelf and rear-sloping roof, this is a large, well-organised log store for keen wood-burners. Stack the main bay high with seasoning timber and use the shelf for kindling and firelighters; the sloped roof keeps rain off the whole lot, so nothing you need for the fire ends up damp.
The 4FT height gives 1m3 and the 6FT a full 1.58m3, enough to store firewood in bulk. Pressure-treated, construction-grade timber resists decay, and slatted sides over a raised base keep air circulating through the pile for thorough drying, meaning more of your stack burns cleanly and hot.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
