Finished in brown, this shelved W-187cm log store offers roomy firewood storage plus a dedicated shelf for the odds and ends that go with a fire. It is a substantial, well-organised unit that still sits comfortably in the garden, keeping the wood and its accessories together and off the damp ground.
The store is built from pressure-treated, construction-grade timber that resists rot, with slatted sides and a raised base to keep air flowing through the pile for even seasoning. It holds 0.8m3 at the 4FT height and 1.28m3 at 6FT, so there is space to store and dry a proper supply of firewood.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
