Finished in a warm brown tone, this W-127cm featheredge log chest stands 104cm tall and 87cm deep, blending traditional looks with practical firewood storage. Heavy-duty, pressure-treated timber and overlapping featheredge cladding give it lasting durability and strong resistance to rot.
A slanted hinged lid lets you drop logs in from above while shedding rainwater away from the contents, and the raised base lifts your stack off the ground so air can circulate underneath. That constant ventilation helps green wood season and keeps seasoned logs dry and ready for the fire.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
