The solid 18mm medium-density MDF work surface offers a smooth platform for varied tasks, supported by a robust frame of construction-grade CLS C16 kiln-dried timber for exceptional durability and stability. Handmade in the UK, each bench arrives in knockdown form for easy on-site assembly, requiring only a screwdriver.
Available in lengths from 5ft to 8ft, this back-panel version suits benches set against a wall where order and security both matter. It combines functionality with superior craftsmanship, making it ideal for professionals and DIY enthusiasts.

Workbench - what actually matters

Looking after it
- Re-coat with a clear or tinted exterior wood treatment every two to three years.
- Keep the base clear of piled soil and leaf litter so the timber can dry out.
- Check fixings once a year and nip up anything that has worked loose.
Delivery and returns
Orders over £100 ship free to UK mainland addresses, normally inside 5-7 working days. Larger items travel by pallet to kerbside, so arrange help to move them. You have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 - see returns and delivery.

Assembly time depends on the size — storage boxes take 15–45 minutes, benches around 30–60 minutes, sheds and bin stores 2–3 hours with two people. A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.

Email hello@garden-storage.com within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund — including return postage. Damage is rare on pallet-shipped items, but it's fully covered under our returns policy.
