The wider W-119cm outdoor shoe and log storage unit is a genuine dual-purpose piece, with a generous capacity that swallows everything from shoes and wellies to firewood. At 1190mm wide, 665mm high and 545mm deep, it keeps clutter tidy just outside the door.
Position it thoughtfully to get the best from it: choose a sheltered spot if prevailing winds drive rain in one direction, and always set it on a flat, stable surface. Avoid siting it under trees, which drip water, and steer clear of low-lying areas prone to dew, mist or fog.
Placing it close to the house, near a front or back door, gives you easy access through winter and spares you long trips out in the cold or snow when you need to top up your supplies.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
