About this product

Everything you need to know

The Wooden Workbench with 18mm Eucalyptus Hardwood Top, Back Panel and Wheels pairs a tidy rear upstand with full mobility. Crafted in the UK from construction-grade CLS C16 kiln-dried timber, it stays stable under load while heavy-duty castors let you reposition it with ease.

  • Back panel plus mobility wheels
  • 18mm eucalyptus plywood top
  • Construction-grade CLS C16 kiln-dried timber

The eucalyptus top offers superior strength, moisture resistance and natural resistance to rot and decay, thriving in humid or dry conditions. The back panel keeps tools contained and the castors make the bench easy to move, giving you a flexible, organised workstation for any workshop or industrial space. It is a practical, long-lasting addition that earns its place in any working space.

What you are getting

The detail that matters on the Wooden Workbench 18mm Eucalyptus Hardwood Top With Back Panel And Wheels, without the sales language. Being timber, it responds to the weather - expect slight seasonal movement and a gradual silvering unless you re-coat it. This particular version includes a heavier-gauge build for sustained working use and castors so it can be repositioned rather than carried.

Workbench - what actually matters

A bench is only as useful as it is rigid. Racking under load is what makes cheap benches unpleasant to work at, so frame construction and worktop thickness matter more than footprint. If you want the longer version, read the full workbench range.

Looking after it

  • Re-coat with a clear or tinted exterior wood treatment every two to three years.
  • Keep the base clear of piled soil and leaf litter so the timber can dry out.
  • Check fixings once a year and nip up anything that has worked loose.

Delivery and returns

Free delivery to UK mainland on orders over £100, typically 5-7 working days. Larger items travel by pallet to kerbside, so arrange help to move them. You have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 - see returns and delivery.

Common questions

Everything buyers ask before they order.

How long does assembly take?

Assembly time depends on the size — storage boxes take 15–45 minutes, benches around 30–60 minutes, sheds and bin stores 2–3 hours with two people. Exact figure for this product is in the Full specification table below. Tools needed: a screwdriver and a spirit level. Prefer someone else to build it? Book a verified Tasker via Taskrabbit.

Do I need a base or level ground?

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.

When will my order arrive?

Standard UK mainland delivery is 5–7 working days, tracked. Free over £100. You'll get a dispatch email with a tracking link. We don't currently ship to Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands & Islands, or Northern Ireland — see our delivery page for the full breakdown.

What if something arrives damaged?

Email hello@garden-storage.com within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund — including return postage. Damage is rare on pallet-shipped items, but it's fully covered under our returns policy.

What's my consumer protection?

You have full rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, as described) and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (14-day right to cancel from receipt). See our returns page for how the cooling-off period and refund timing work in practice.
