Creoshield Timber Treatment in Dark gives garden timber the attractive, water-repellent look of old-style creosote, with a reduced but still characteristic odour. This Bird Brand formula is solvent-based and ready to use, so there is no mixing before you start.
It penetrates into the timber and includes a wax additive designed to repel rainwater for roughly the first year of service, helping shield fences, sheds and outbuildings during that initial season. The result is a rustic, traditional finish in a rich dark tone.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
