The compact 4x3 wooden shed base covers W-118cm x D-94cm, an ideal foundation for small sheds, tool stores and compact garden units. Its modest footprint makes it quick to position and simple to level, even in a tight corner of the garden.
Despite its size, you still get the full choice of timber depths - 38x63mm, 38x89mm and 38x138mm - so you can lift a small store clear of damp ground or level a slight slope. The base arrives as pre-assembled sections, so setting it up is largely a matter of connecting the ready-made parts together.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
