The 6x6 wooden shed base forms a near-square platform of W-180cm x D-177cm, ideal for square sheds, corner buildings and compact workshops. Its even proportions make it simple to set out and keep true on all four sides.
Pick from three timber depths - 38x63mm, 38x89mm or 38x138mm - to raise the base to the height your ground requires, whether you are clearing damp turf or levelling a gentle slope. Because the sections arrive pre-assembled, the work is mainly connecting the ready-made parts together, with no frame to cut and build yourself.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
