Everything you need to know
Crafted from high-quality pressure-treated timber, this 1.6m island gives the compact Kamado Egg Mini Max a surprisingly generous base. The 160cm length and 900mm depth open up a proper worktop for prep, resting and serving, so even a small cooker gains a big, practical cooking station.
The timber is expertly built to resist weathering, standing firm against rain, frost and sun for years outdoors without losing its strength. It stays put in position, a solid and weatherproof station for a small but capable cooker that is always ready for the next cook.
- Fits the Kamado Egg Mini Max ceramic smoker
- High-quality pressure-treated timber
- 1600mm W x 900mm D x 880mm H

What you are getting
The detail that matters on the BBQ Space Outdoor Kitchen Islands, for Kamado Egg (Mini Max) Ceramic smoker (1.6m Length), without the sales language. Being timber, it responds to the weather - expect slight seasonal movement and a gradual silvering unless you re-coat it.
BBQ Table - what actually matters
Outdoor kitchen furniture lives a harder life than indoor equivalents - heat on one side, weather on the other. Worktop material is the part that has to cope with both. If you want the longer version, read BBQ tables.
Looking after it
- Re-coat with a clear or tinted exterior wood treatment every two to three years.
- Keep the base clear of piled soil and leaf litter so the timber can dry out.
- Check fixings once a year and nip up anything that has worked loose.
Delivery and returns
UK mainland delivery is free over £100 and usually lands within 5-7 working days. Larger items travel by pallet to kerbside, so arrange help to move them. You have 14 days to change your mind under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 - see returns and delivery.

Assembly time depends on the size — storage boxes take 15–45 minutes, benches around 30–60 minutes, sheds and bin stores 2–3 hours with two people. Exact figure for this product is in the Full specification table below. Tools needed: a screwdriver and a spirit level. Prefer someone else to build it? Book a verified Tasker via Taskrabbit.
A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
Standard UK mainland delivery is 5–7 working days, tracked. Free over £100. You'll get a dispatch email with a tracking link. We don't currently ship to Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands & Islands, or Northern Ireland — see our delivery page for the full breakdown.
Email hello@garden-storage.com within 30 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund — including return postage. Damage is rare on pallet-shipped items, but it's fully covered under our returns policy.
You have full rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, as described) and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (14-day right to cancel from receipt). See our returns page for how the cooling-off period and refund timing work in practice.
