This planed 2x6 timber is machined to a finished 38 x 138mm and graded CLS C16, making it a strong, dependable choice for shed framing, stud walls and general structural work. Pressure-treated throughout, it is built for exterior use and resists the rot that untreated timber quickly falls to.
Cut from joinery-grade Scandinavian Redwood with a planed round edge, it offers a clean, smooth surface that is easy to handle, fix and finish. Choose from a wide range of lengths to suit your project, from short 0.9m sections up to a generous 4.8m.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
