This planed 2x4 timber is machined to a finished 38 x 89mm, the go-to section for shed framing, stud partitions and countless everyday building tasks. Its smooth PSE surface and planed round edge make it easy to mark, cut and fasten wherever your project needs it.
Milled from joinery-grade Scandinavian Redwood and pressure-treated for exterior use, it stands up to rot and moisture for a long service life outdoors, with untreated options offered too. Pick from lengths spanning 0.9m to 4.8m so you can match the timber to the run and trim waste.

A level, solid surface gives the best result for sheds and larger storage units — concrete slab, paving flags, or a pressure-treated timber base all work. Storage boxes sit on any level paved or decked surface. If the ground isn't level, panels won't line up cleanly and the unit won't be fully weathertight.
